Again, the UNGL’s goal is to “develop tomorrow’s stars of the game”. By scheduling our season during this period, we give our players optimal exposure to professional player scouts. Fresh off the season, this also puts these players in ideal situations to be drafted by the NFL, CFL, or in the case of the AFL or any other league with a similar format, signed by a team that may be interested in a particular player.
The UNGL players will be coming from various teams throughout all divisions of collegiate football.
Currently, many schools have systems in-place for their athletes, which give them the ability to graduate early. This might include taking non-traditional semesters such as those offered in the summer or winter, attending remote courses, or even taking online classes, but regardless, these methods all give the athletes the opportunity to graduate early. For those athletes who choose not to finish their degree, the UNGL will always promote the idea of graduation and will take proactive measures in seeing that this goal is obtained.
The UNGL follows standard, professional rules and guidelines almost identical to that of the NFL.
The UNGL will hire an experienced commissioner and staff with the appropriate qualifications and background needed to take the league in a successful direction.
The UNGL is a professional league designed to develop the best talent for professional football, such as the NFL, CFL, and AFL. This league creates a realistic opportunity for players to showcase their talent, receive realistic opportunities, all while learning the skills and professionalism that it takes to be a professional athlete in today’s game.
